On day 2, we explored Montmarte and we found this Instagram famous photobooth. I'm not sure how people get such good photos here- there were lots of people waiting in line to use the booth and for their prints to develop, and the mirrors made it difficult to not catch people's reflections. But luckily I was able to get a few decent shots, plus some cute film strips. As a bonus, we stumbled upon the grocery store used in Amelie which is located just down the street from the booth.

I finally made it back to Paris! I had been thinking about and planning this trip since 2020 before the pandemic but obviously covid put everything on hold. I was in Paris for one week before traveling to Lyon for work for another week. This was my outfit the first day I arrived. I knew I wanted to shoot here (Colonnes de Buren) and figured I would coordinate in a black and white look. While in Paris, I wore a beret almost every day, even though I know it makes you look like a tourist, but I just couldn't resist since it's one of my signatures anyway. When in Rome, right?
Joanie Clothing also sent me this cat dress from their new line. I love the collar and mustard yellow color, and of course the quirky print. I paired it with a pair of new shoes Vivaia sent me, which are actually made from recycled water bottles. I can't wait to continue wearing this dress through the fall and pairing it with black tights.
One of my favorite things about the weather cooling down is that I can bring back my berets. Joanie Clothing sent me this stripe dress from their new line and I had to pair it with a beret and my straw bag for a French girl vibe.
My friend and I had dinner the other day at the newly reopened Figaro Cafe in West Village. It originally opened in 1957, closed in 2008, and recently reopened again. The decor is modern with a vintage twist and the food and service was amazing as well. Definitely recommend it for a great NYC dining experience all around.
This colorful fruit stand is nestled between SoHo and West Village. I always admire it when I walk by, so I was glad I could finally fit in a shoot here before the end of summer. Although I'm always sad to see summer go, I am looking forward to fall in NYC.
Fourth of July is always one of my favorite weekends in NYC. The city empties out so it's the perfect time to go to a popular bar or restaurant that is normally impossible to get into. This year, my sister and I went to Grand Banks, a bar/restaurant that is on a boat on the west side. We had some delicious cocktails and some small bites. The weather was beautiful and it was a great way to kick off the long holiday weekend.
This summer I am all about creating European vibes wherever I am, whether that's finding an Italian restaurant and dining al fresco in the city, or enjoying an Aperol Spritz in my mom's backyard like I did this day. My sisters dog also wanted to join in on these photos too.
Last weekend was Memorial Day, which means it's officially summer in the city. On Saturday I found this vintage scarf and I couldn't wait to wear it the next day, especially because I love wearing scarves in my hair during the summer months. I serendipitously found a laundromat that matched the colors of my outfit perfectly on the way back from brunch and had to snap some photos.
