For skating at the runway rink, I wanted to put together a 70's inspired roller derby look. Since I was too busy trying to not fall while skating, I decided to take some proper photos of my outfit afterwards in the living room at the TWA hotel. It's a late 60's/early 70's vibe, so I thought it would be the perfect backdrop for this look. The top and shorts were both thrifted finds from this summer, so I was glad to finally get a chance to photograph them together. 

A few weekends ago, my friends Katie, Jenna and I went to the TWA hotel for the day. This was the first time I've been back since before the pandemic, so I was so happy to be at one of my favorite places again. We started the day taking a few pictures before going to the Paris Cafe for lunch and drinks. After a quick wardrobe change, we headed out to the Runway Rink to roller skate. I was finally able to put my Impala Skates that I got during quarantine to good use. I was pretty proud of myself that I didn't fall once! Some more photos and another wardrobe change, and we were back at the Paris Cafe for another drink. We wanted to go to the Connie, but unfortunately it was closed due to a wedding. Overall, it was a great day and I can't wait to go back again.
