Anyone who knows me even a little bit, knows I'm pretty obsessed with the 1960's. It may be because I recently finished watching the Mad Men series in its entirety, but lately I've had even more of an urge to dress 60's inspired. So I've been on the hunt for lace shift dresses this spring, and finally put the Francesca's gift card that was burning a hole in my pocket since Christmas to good use. This dress that I bought in my local store isn't available online, but they have so many other cute retro inspired dresses both in stores and on their website. Everything else I am wearing is either vintage or an old favorite, but I've listed where the items are from below.
Dress: Francesca's (www.francescas.com)
Shoes: Anthropologie; Bag: Nordstrom; Ring: Kate Spade; Necklace: Vintage; Sunglasses: Urban Outfitters

Welcome to my first blog post! This post is in collaboration with Venus & Mars, a new beauty brand based out of San Fransisco. I was lucky enough to receive three of their amazing lipsticks, Code Red, Marilyn, & Respect. Of the three colors, my favorite was definitely the Marilyn. It is a perfect cherry red color, which is my go to whenever I am in the mood for a bold lip. Venus & Mars products are all natural, not tested on animals (yay!), and are made in Canada. They are currently offering 20% off your first order and free U.S. shipping.
Since this post is all about lipstick, naturally I decided to style my outfit around this quirky printed top I recently purchased at a local boutique. The rest of the items in this look are old favorites, but I have listed where each item is from below.
Top: Mint Market; Collared Shirt: Urban Outfitters; Skirt: Madewell; Clutch: Shiraleah Chicago; Bracelet and Ring: Kate Spade; Umbrella: Zara; Mirror: Forever 21;
